Food sovereignty

A new on-line book published by IIED has recently been brought to our attention.

Towards Food Sovereignty authored by Michael Pimbert discusses the ecological basis of food and agriculture, and looks at the social and environmental costs of modern food systems.  The book is made up of three parts:

Part 1: Another world is possible for food and agriculture

Part 2: Local organisations at the heart of food sovereignity

Part 3: Transformation for food sovereignty

Parts 1 and 2 are available for download full-text, and part 3 will be shortly available in the next few months.  There are also video and audio files to view.   Enjoy!
