Women & food sovereignity: call for papers

ILEIA recently sent out a call for articles for the next issue of the LEISA Magazine, on the topic of Women and Food Sovereignty.  This will be their focus  for their September issue.

Areas of interest on the subject include:
What does food sovereignty mean in the day-to-day lives of small-scale farm families? And more particularly, what does it mean for women – being the main providers of food? How do they perceive the global changes in agriculture, and how do they respond to them?

Do you have some stories to share?  Please send your contributions to Jorge Chavez-Tafur, [ j.chavez-tafur(at)ileia.nl] by 1st June 2009.
