Sustainable rural future: symposium announcement

The Europe Group of the International Farming Systems Association has announced a call for papers for their symposium in 2010 that will be held in Vienna.

The symposium is focusing on:  Building sustainable rural future:  The added value of systems approaches in times of change and uncertainty. It will have five main themes:

* Knowledge systems, learning and collective actions
* Transition, resilience and adaptive management
* Energy production, CO2 sink and climate change
* Sustainable food systems
* Landscape and rural land use

The first key date for this conference is the 15th October, which is the deadline for the submission of abstracts.  Learn more here
