Plant clinics in Uganda

Here is a positive story from the Guardian that highlights how mobile plant clinics in Ugandan markets are assisting farmers to determine what is affecting their ailing plants and crops, and how to rectify the problem.

In the area of Katine there is little or no extension work being carried out to assist farmers so these plant clinics help to fill this gap. It is hoped that the farmers will then in turn assist other farmers with similar problems, and pass on the knowledge they have learnt from the clinic.   Read more
