Biodiversity film-making competition

The tve’s  (Television Trust for the Environment) biomovies competition has been launched on 29 October at the UN biodiversity summit in Nagoya, Japan, with the screening of two films by YouTube cult filmmakers Eddsworld from Britain and Killcure’s Varun Kannan from India. It has also been launched online on Tuesday 26 October at .

There are three categories in the competition – each looking at a different aspect of biodiversity: food, jobs and forests. To view the categories in more detail click here.  A shortlist of twelve will receive US$300 to produce their films, which will be broadcast on tve’s Inspiring Change YouTube channel at
