Start looking through those herbaria cabinets

Enough of this gallivanting off to far-flung places — time to start rooting through those herbaria cabinets.

According to a news item on the Nature website, more than half of the world’s “undiscovered” plant species may already reside in herbaria cabinets. (Which suggests that they have been discovered, just not described, but that is another issue.)

Doesn’t have the same elan as a collecting mission, but might just be more productive.
