Feeding the world’s growing population: how to solve the food crisis

The Canadian newspaper, The Globe and Mail has recently published a piece that looks at the question:

“How do we feed seven billion people – and counting?”

This question was posed to 18 of the world’s foremost thinkers on food — the people advising presidents, prime ministers and CEOs—for their ideas on how to solve the food crisis.

Some of the solutions presented include:  investing in agriculture, making better hybrids, or taxing junk food.
